302: Childhood Ruiner

Discourse surrounding the new Thundercats reboot has gotten kinda insane, so of course here I am to fan the flames of that discourse.

Full disclosure: bothering to listen to opposing voices, I do agree that it sucks that a style that’s “samey” as other modern shows has been added to the pop culture library and people are clearly tired of that. But in terms of stuff I won’t tire of: passionate people that genuinely want a show from their childhood to be as good as they remember it being and thus making a new thing to bring under the public eye and at the very least get kiddies into the same stuff their manchildy parents are into. It’s heartwarming in a weird cult-y way.
